About Us
At Reflections...An Orthodontic Experience, we provide comprehensive orthodontic care for patients of all ages. Dr. Blackman and Dr. Karr use a team approach to offer patients the most advanced orthodontic treatments backed by over 45 years of combined experience. Our skillful staff members also help to provide individualized care for each and every one of our patients.
We understand the reluctance that some patients, especially adults, may feel about getting braces. For patients worried about the appearance of their braces, we are proud to offer many different types of braces, some of which offer a translucent, unnoticeable appearance, along with the traditional metal braces. All of the different braces offered at our practice provide effective, long-lasting results.
Our orthodontic care provides braces to correct problems such as crowding, overbite, underbite, spacing, protruding upper teeth and more. We work with each patient to develop the most effective treatment plan for your individual needs, and strive to provide comprehensive correction with a minimal treatment time. We also provide specific instructions to help our patients care for their braces and to ensure that their teeth receive proper oral hygiene while braces are in place.

Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Scott Blackman joined our practice in 1996. He received his undergraduate and dental education from the University of Tennessee, where he also completed his postgraduate orthodontic residency. Dr. Blackman is a graduate of the World Clinical Laser Institute for laser dentistry with Level II certification, and is a graduate of the Ritz Carlton Leadership Center for service excellence. He is an officer in the Tennessee Dental Association and is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Tennessee Dental Association, Southern Association of Orthodontics, Tennessee Association of Orthodontics and the Eighth District Dental Society. Dr. Blackman has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for 17 years and has 3 boys, Connor, Griffin, and Brennan. When he is not creating Designer Smiles, Dr. Blackman is a competitive triathlete and runner, having competed in seven Ironman Triathlons and over 26 marathons!
Meet Our Staff
Hello! My name is Jennifer but most everyone calls me Jen. I am very excited to be a part of the Reflections Family! I am the manager of our marketing and community relations program. I love working with our area schools and helping develop fun and exciting programs for our patients! I am a very proud mom of three wonderful boys. When I'm not working, you can find me at their school volunteering, and in the stands cheering (very loudly) for them! I have a soccer, baseball, and a football player. Ask me about them anytime! My other love is animals. I adore our fuzzy friends and passionately support our local shelter and Humane Society.
My name is Gloria Henshaw. I've been a part of the Smiles Team since 1991. I am an avid bicyclist, and like to hike,fish, and kayak. I love the water and enjoy being on the beach. I also love spending time with Ella, my sweet little yorkie.
My name is Mica Pounds. I was born and raised here in Clarksville. My husband, Jeff, and I have a daughter named Madison, who is a student at Rossview Middle School. I attend Fountain of Life Church and teach Children's Sunday School. When I'm not at work or church, I can usually be found in the stands at my daughter's softball games. I've been a member of the Reflections team since 1996, and I have been a Treatment Coordinator since 2001.
My name is Melissa Holt (Insurance and Treatment Coordinator). I was born and raised here in Clarksville. I am happily married to my husband, Jason, and we have two wonderful children, Blake and Morgan. I love being a part of the beautiful smiles that are created here each day. We have a wonderful staff here at Reflections and I feel blessed to be a part of this team. If I can help you, please let me know.

My name is Dana Self. I joined the Reflections Team in 2007. I work in the administration office at our practice in guest relations. I enjoy spending time with my husband, Chris, and our three beautiful children, Jordan, Haley, and Reese. I also enjoy running and attending sporting events for my husband and children. I love hanging out with my work family :)
My name is Tonya Jones. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 25 plus years. We have an amazing daughter who is a registered Dental Hygienist. I am patiently waiting for her and my son-in-law to give me a grand-baby. In my spare time, I love photography and reading. I have a passion for rescue animals and have two sweet fur babies.
My name is Christina Sisk. I am married and we have four children and a special dog named Macy. I started with Reflections in 1996. When I’m not at work, I enjoy gardening, fishing, and riding motorcycles.
My name is Tiffany Parker. I became a part of the Reflections family in February 2013. I enjoy cooking, watching horror movies, and spending time with my family and friends. I also love spending time with Penny, my little fur baby.
My name is Destiny Anderson. I have three wonderful children, Christiana, Donovan, and Brennon. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have been a member of the Reflections team since 2004.
My name is Melissa Moore. I have been in the orthodontic field since 2002. I am married and we have three children. Our youngest was born in 2019 and he keeps us busy, along with two teenagers. We have a miniature schnauzer, a great dane, two kitty cats and chickens. I enjoy doing anything outdoors, gardening, and spending time with family.
My name is Amy Tinker. I am a Clarksville native. My husband, John, and I have one daughter named Paige. I have three wonderful grand babies. We are avid hunters and love to be outdoors. I am happy to be part of the Reflections family.
